HI
ReplyDeleteI BELIEVE THE ANSWER TO B2 NO.18 ON THE 2014 PANHELLENIC EXAM IS INAPPROPRIATE.
"ADDRESS TO"MEANS TO DELIVER SOMETHING TO SOMEONE.
WE WANT A SYNONYM TO"LIKE" THEREFORE THE APPROPRIATE PHRASE IS " APPEALTO"WHICH MEANS TO ATTRACT OR PLEASE SOMEONE
Hello Venetia. Thank you for your comment.
DeleteThe keys I use are the ones from major frontisteria found on the internet. I agree with your interpretation, but I don't really know what answers the examiners are given.
Have a good day. :-)
Hello, I have recently started lessons with a student to prepare for the exams and I am a bit concerned about whether I should use a grammar book apart from the books which include practice tests. Any opinions on that?
ReplyDeleteA bit late to answer but it depends on how much time you have. Start with the papers and work on the grammar as you go along if you think it is necessary.
